How to choose a knife in the process of making a knife mold using a fully automatic computer scimitar machine? The computerized automatic bender machine selects the appropriate cutting material is the D step of manufacturing the knife mold, and the selection of the cutting material is determined according to the characteristics of the die-cutting data. Die cutting materials are generally divided into ordinary cardboard, hard rubber board, flexible materials and recycled paper. The following is a brief analysis of various materials selection methods:
1. Ordinary cardboard: Ordinary cardboard includes common cardboard and corrugated paper. For die-cutting this type of cardboard, you can use an ordinary laser knife (blade angle 52). If the die-cutting shape is complex, you need to choose a knife with a lower hardness and better bending function. In the die-cutting process, if the required die-cutting pressure is small, the cutter material with the edge angle of 42 can be used. Small die-cutting pressure can reduce blade wear and extend die-cutting life.
2. Rigid rubber sheets: including PVC, PET, electronic boards, high-density materials, gaskets, etc. For die-cutting such materials, you need to use a cutter material with a high hardness. The hardness of the ordinary laser knife blade is 39HRC and the blade hardness is 57HRC. For die-cutting hard rubber sheets, the blade hardness of the blade is 47HRC and the blade hardness is 59HRC. The smaller the blade angle, the greater the hardness of the blade, the better the wear resistance.
3. Flexible materials: including aluminum foil, peritoneal materials, soft plastics, etc. For die-cutting materials, you need to use a knife material with a precision-grinding edge. This kind of material has a lubricated edge surface and requires a small die-cutting pressure. It can easily pass through the viscous material and reduce the problem of trimming and fuzzing.
4. Retracting paper die-cutting: Retracting paper is very easy to produce paper dust. Therefore, you should choose a knife material that can reduce the friction between the blade and the paper during the die-cutting process. The knife material whose blade surface is polished or coated is very lubricated and can meet this requirement; if the blade angle reaches 42, the die cutting pressure can be further reduced, and then the die cutting dust can reach very little.
